It provides you with quickly available carbohydrates and electrolytes sodium and magnesium. It also contains a special mix of dextrose, maltodextrin and isomaltulose - known under the brand Palatinose. Isomaltulose is a complex carbohydrate naturally derived from sugar beet. Complex means that the carbohydrates cannot be converted quickly but in the long term by the body.
