Product Description Drano Power Gel eliminates strongest pipe blockages in 5 minutes. For particularly stubborn blockages, leave for at least 30 minutes or overnight. The active ingredient is chlorine bleach. This has a chemical effect, but does not remain in the environment, but breaks down into salt, water and oxygen due to natural physical processes. The product does not have a thermal effect, there is no heat in the pipe. However, chlorine bleach decomposes under exposure to light. To achieve the complete effectiveness of chlorine bleach, the product should always be placed in a dark area (e.g. in the closed household cabinet), only then full performance is guaranteed for 2 years.
